| Summer Fun Update |

Last week was fun at the beach with the family and my cousin flew in to come with us so that was all good. The week consisted of LONG walks on the beach, annual putt putt tournament which I placed second to last after being in solid 3rd position, going to ft. fisher aquarium, and the best part of it all sitting on the beach. In recent news there is only 27 days until I move into wilmington so I expect frequent visitors being that it is the ideal location to come and chill for a weekend trip. That's about it for now.

It has been a while since I last wrote since then a lot has gone on. It ended up NC State denied me while that afternoon Wilmington accepted me, so I will be at the beach next year. I am living on campus in graham residence hall and I just recently found out who my roommate is, he seems thus far from talking to him online to be a pretty straight guy from glen allen virginia. I also have talked to two of my suite mates, they as well seem to be like interesting people. So basically I am excited and ready to go to school, as is my dad probably seeing as today he measured and found out his truck fits in the garage so when I leave for college next year my spot in the garage goes with it. School is basically done now AP tests are over with so all there is left is enjoy the rest of high school. Once summer hits it will be nice to finally have some time to just do nothing and will probably go by fast seeing as I have only two weeks not planned with anything. That's all for now.

| Umm Update.. |

SO yeah in recent news that is somewhat important..
-I got deffered from NC State so now I won't hear back until March 31stish and I have to write another essay and other stuff...Yippy..crap
-I was accepted to Appalachain State like late last year.
-My exams were as expected basically..I made a solid B is statistics finally and I did alright everywhere else.
Yeah that's about it..I don't really know who still actually reads this however just if you wanted to know what's new that's new.

After much reading through this journal a couple of thoughts have come into mind:
~There will always be drama in high school mostly caused by relationships.
~There will always be a friend by your side even if they are 698 miles away.
~Tomorrow won't always be better but it will be another day with oppertunities in it.
~Change is not always good or bad just different and with that you learn to adapt because it will happen.

Last weekend was the best thing that could ever happen to me. To start off I did my homework online then ended up going to a soccer game at Myers Park which was to say the least amazing and dissappointing because we lost 1-3 but the drive as well people around me were awesome. Then I went to battle of the bands for a bit to just chill with good people. On saturday I went to my grandparents for a good meal and then went to a concert with my friend Amy Daniels who made everything 100x better because in between sets we talked about random stuff then got to see three really good bands. Then I random drove around in the arboretum because we couldn't decide what we wanted to do. To say the least I had a GREAT weekend.

Last night I went to Andrew's house after going to the soccer game and watched a lot of random commericals he had downloaded as well as the last half of Kung Fu Hussle. Tonight I went to Ice Cream with jeff and greg and ended up going to putt-putt with Griff and his Girlfriend Katie, so that was this weekend in words. So now we cut to a weekend summed up in pictures.

Tonight I didn't find plans, and got really bored/sad that basically every person I called didn't answer their phone or were doing something so I ended up staying in. So definatly I just reflected on the last few years after finding old pictures of mission trips and my brother when he was in high school. Its strange how all your life you wait to go onto something else but when you get there its never enough. You want to go onto the next phase hoping that it will satisfy you. I am not exempt from this, especially considering I feel like my last year will be extremely hard to get through especially seeing as I am deathly afraid of being deferred from my top 2 chocies especailly considering state's website says Highly Selective college, basically all of them, is usually only accepting the top 30% of the class and I am barely in 50%. Plus wilmington this year got 9,000 applicants for 1,700 spots. I definatly regret a lot of chocies I made early in high school cause I could probably be in the top 20% if I really wanted to be, except I got slack. I just hope it doesn't come back to kick my butt. Of course all this almost a year away and the only reason I think about it is because I just long to get out of charlotte and away from people I know just for a while.

Congradulations to UNC though I say that sorely. It was a well played game, the only thing that is pissing me off is the officiating. I'm sorry but that was the worst calling I have seen all tournament and it wasn't just one sided. Anyhow I do applaud UNC, it was a good game, I just wish that it was called better.

So since the last entry some amazing times have passed, though provoked by boredom they are still worth noting. Yesterday I went with some friends to concored mills where we just walked around and talked about random things. After we decided to play some tennis and I definatly improved even though my friend brennan and I lost horribly bad. Later that night we went to brennan's to play poker, for no money because we are poor, then I went home. Today I got a haircut and bought the new MAE cd which I must say is quality, a lot better than their first album. As well I offically have my after 9 lisence, however it took 2 hrs. Anyhow pictures and other stories will be posted later at the end of break.

This last month has been full of stress and joy. I lately have been having much happier days with the thought of summer around the corner. Classes are much better now without the stupid senior exit paper and much thanks to sarah for the help. Definatly I am excited about having summer around the corner because it always seems to make everything better.

So I found out this week after school on tuesday that I got a 82 for the quarter in spanish and 83 for the semester so that's amazing considering I did nothing all semester really and got a 75 on my exam. SO I actually am gonna try a bit now. In other news I am almost eligible for my after 9 next week, which means I won't get it till february, but hey its the fact that its avalible.

Ok its been a while but its been a good break, I definatly have to say winter break was much needed to sleep and catch up with my brother...highlights include but are not limited to, poker nights, random day trip to winston-salem, movies, and lets not forget new years eve.
In other news exams are done and I did pretty good overall just really scared with spanish cause I sucked on the exam and definatly slacked off this quarter, I hate her little game where we do crap work that she doesn't hardly grade but only to say if its done or not, so I could write you suck this class sucks and she'd never notice the difference. Its my fault reguardless so I start a new tomorrow. That's basically life, nothing exciting really, however I am content with it for the most part.

So I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of school this is why....
-5 days of school till break
-2 tests tomorrow, both gonna be moderately difficult and critical for grades
-1 test tues. not gonna kill me but not easy
-1 project due tues. gonna be time consuming but not difficult
-1 project and paper for english due wed.
-200+ pages left in a book by thurs.
-Test thurs. on the book counting 2 test grades
-Chorus concert tues. night
-Rehersal and b-ball practice wed.
I need a break from this, and you wonder why there's a correlation between stress and school. Now back to work.

Today basically was horrible in every aspect, I had to turn in senior exit ideas and I have good ideas but we don't know anything about our paper only that its due in march sometime and won't start the format or anything till after break. SO we got the short end of the stick again. Also I just badly need to get out of this mood I often myself where everything is just the same. Like its one big day when nothing exceptional happens, even if something does it just seems like a dream, so its almost like I have lost reality ever since the end of summer. Its the strangest feeling it being winter, I've just been so pre-occupied with things. Anyhow this weekend looks promising, BIG game tomorrow night ANYONE with the time come see some crazy b-ball, 9pm @mattews united methodist, if you need directions call me 704-591-0234. Then sat. workin 11-2 and maybe that night, we'll see.

I haven't updated in a while but with good cause with the basic fact nothing is happening. Life is going alright nothing big to complain about, school is school. I definatly have to say I am glad the whole presidential race is over, just because I was getting sick of the bickering and childish acts of both parties. I am probably going to either get a whole amount of comments about that or none, but in anycase I don't feel like getting into the whole arguement of politics. In other news I am equally sick with the weather, that is why I have decided never to live in seattle or any place where its cold and wet more than 25% of the year.

Ok so this weekend has been a full cycle of things to say the least. For the most part very much needed and very greatly recieved. Thursday-Saturday was spent at NC STATE a BIG THANKS to my bro and his roomate for allowing me to stay up there, the trip was pretty good having phillip drive. Yeah definatly sore right now from walking 10 km today for crop, but after went and had dinner with a couple people which was interesting, dinner was good but then the trip to barnes and noble was akward they had their boyfriends show up and I felt out of place, but whatever. I went to sisky Y to play some Ultimate but no one showed till I had to leave for my early curfew and came home to find out that my uncle might come down for thanksgiving with his kids and that should be interesting when myself/my bro are kicked out of our house possibly. Anyhow whatever, Hope the weekend was awesome for everyone.
